The Greatest Anthem on the Planet

Without question, South African anthem surpasses all others in its sheer beauty,
power and significance.
In its current format it’s a combination of incredibly melodic “Nkosi Sikelel’

The Haka

There is nothing else like it in the sports world…
First time I saw it, I knew I was a rugby fan for life.

Traditionally, tribal reputations within the Maoris rose and fell on their ability
to perform the haka (Hamana Mahuika). These days, the All Blacks spread

Semantic model for Java

James Gosling’s Jackpot seems like a great idea and I hope the end result will be open-sourced some day.
Would be interesting to see if IntelliJ IDEA would change their refactoring engine to use it.
You know that Eclipse would, probably causing it’s refactoring capabilities to leapfrog IDEA eventually.

java.net running Perl?

Creating a central place for Java collaboration could be a worthwhile initiative.
Asking your favorite Java gurus to put down some of their thoughts in a weblog seems like a nice enough idea.
But you do have to question using a Perl-based TWiki for to build your Java-pedia.
Why not start with an open-source package like SnipSnap?
