Windows 95…It was just a matter of time

Windows 95 was not really a development or deployment system for any serious applications. I always thought it was just a hyped up gaming machine which allows you to check emails.

Windows 95 was a step back from OS/2 for example, but it’s not true it wasn’t a serious OS for the time. Many big commercial applications that are used nowadays have had versions for Windows 95.
